Getting Married and Divorced in Skyrim
Skyrim Marriage Description In Skyrim, once you obtain the Amulet of Mara, you can marry anyone, of any race or gender. The Amulet of Mara can be purchased from a priest named Maramal for 200; he can be found at the Temple of Mara in Riften or the Bee and Barb. It can also be found as random loot, in the Lover's Tent on a beach north of Dawnstar, or received after completing The Book of Love quest. You must ask Maramal about marriage before any dialogue about the Amulet of Mara comes up.
Forcing Marriage in Skyrim To force the marriage dialog option, open the console by pressing the ~ key, which is to the right of the 1 key and below the Esc key, target the desired character, and type the command addfac 19809 1.
Divorce in Skyrim Divorcing a partner in Skyrim requires the use of console commands.

Method 1
Enter the following commands in the console: completequest 0007431B, resetquest 0007431B, and resetquest 00021382.

Method 2
Kill the spouse. Then use the command Setstage RelationshipMarriage 10. Next use the command resurrect on the ex-spouse. You do not need to drop or sell the Amulet of Mara.
